1/6 Hot Toys Chris Redfield (BSAA version)

Finnaly my first Hot Toys has been arrived!... My hard work finally paid off this toy hunt, although I bought it the price is quite expensive but I am not sorry because this is really Hot (Hot=Sexy) and it is really really Hot Toys.

Chris Redfield, maybe if you hear that name who comes to my mind was the main hero from Resident Evil Game! if I flashback to 14 years ago that I remember Chris Redfield has been one of the main hero in the game Resident Evil since 14 years ago. do not be surprised if he always exist appear in every game Resident Evil poster. Although I myself had no one completed it game but one of my favorite Resident Evil games are Resident Evil 1: director's cut where he was trapped in the gigantic luxury mansion and survive from Zombies.

her face has changed since it first appeared, and until now he's really like Taylor Lautner who transformed in the movie Twilight Saga: New Moon. Now he's a sexy guy probably because too many steroids because Zombie slaying :-)

DETAIL

Head, This Figure was sculpted by Kang In Ae, Not Bad. Detailing sculpt is awesome, the lips, eyes, and nose like a life human but to sculpt hair always very difficult thing to implies in action figures. I very rarely to find action figures with 100% perfect hair sculpt.

And I think that face is feel too long, I compare with game version his appear to haveslightlyrounder face with hard jaw. But it make this Toy look more handsome, although will slightly different from the game version. If you do not realize this difference you need to look at this with an ultra critical eye to pick up on the ever so slight discrepancies.

PROPORTION

Body, okay there is no doubt that Hot Toys is using the same body as Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mayor Alan "Dutch" Scaefer (from The Predator). The good news about using this body is the rubber was cut at the shoulder to give it more freedom to move up and down and the vein on it his arms are really add life effect. The only bad thing that I'm dissapointed with his nipples, I think it just slightly too down. LOL.... And then the sexy muscle body is perfect if you ask me, But I read in www.superheroesbase.com there stated that his clothes dye will sully his body just like a bruise, and it happened with author's Jack Krauser figure, this statemen make me very sad. I can't check it because I'm always never opened my figure from the box, I'm mint in box collector. And the author stated it was written on instruction leaflet.

That body comparison with Alan "Dutch" Scaefer and TrueType figure body. Although had a same body but I don't know why Chris Redfield look slightly shorter than Alan "Dutch' Scaefer, perhabs because Alan wearing high heels at the time of photoshoot.

Articulations, the rubber skin is going to limit the movement, Yes! that's true . The muscle also will make you scared to move the hand because you can’t see what position the skeleton frame is inside the rubber skin. So you have to be extra careful about that. Also the neck, it’s just too fat that you can’t move his head downward at all. As for the wrists Hot Toys provided 2 extra joints, it’s good to know they think about that.

PAINTING

Painting, I don’t have any complain with this toy I love the paint job they did. JC Hong never dissapointed me, especially the head shading and skin tones. He do great job for weapons and accessories too. The tones show nice subtle variations, with a slight darkening around the eyes and on the stubble shadowing on his chin. The lips are picked out in a convincing tone and the eyes are up there with some of his best work, it really make the head-sculpt looks alive. If you don’t want the body become bruises, let the plastics on his arms where they are, it should be fine I guess. JC add weathering and rusty effect to all weapons and it make this toys look perfect.

Chris comes with a very imposing weapon, Hot Toys are very Expert to create weapon with perfectly detail. This Figure contain 21 piece accesories 13 of them are weapon.

I read in www.mwctoys.com this outfit was produced by Polland, no not the country, that only has one ‘L’. I’m not even sure if Polland is a person or a collective, but whatever he/she/they are, they’ve done a great job of replicating the outfit as seen in the game. If you literally hold up your figure next to the full figure image I linked to above (which is just a little over 1/6th scale in height) you’ll see how amazingly well observed his fatigues are. Every detail from the different coloured panels on his shirt with embroidered patches through to the elaborate webbing harness with it’s numerous pouches and pockets, all of which have opening clips and Velcroed flaps are replicated just about as perfectly as its possible at this scale.

Sorry this month I'm lately published "Photo of the mont", this is due because this month I was busy hunting for the Hot Toys figure Chris Redfield. This photo should be published in mid-month to coincide on Valentine's Day, so I gave pinkish shades and orange shades in this photo, the objective to be more harmonious with Valentine's Day.

Lego Space Port Launch Pad 6339

If yesterday I was reviewed my small lego, still waiting for my max steel figure that I ordered on ebay to come on my house I will review the rather large lego. I'll show you one of my pride this is Space Port Launch Pad Lego, still vintage item, it made in 1995 and maybe I got it on 1996 as present from my mom.
You can see, it had a great detail with great complex. This Lego contain 4 minifigure : one Astronaut with it white space suit, one space researchers with it white lab coat, and two technician with blue uniform and red hat.
Like my habit who always making photos look a little more beautiful, I do a little Digital Imaging in my Space Port Lunch Pad Lego, and I hope you'll enjoy it.

From the photo above you can see how beautiful this Lego with a little touch with Photoshop and below this is some photos from the cute two technician :-)



And..... the Space ranger having a serious conversation with researchers professor.


this time I did not make the short story again, because i'm confusion looking for story ideas what could be created with this lego.

And I've been scanning the cover and back page of the manual, the back page contains other creations with this lego Space Port Launch Pad. Do look a little shabby, but I hope you're not too disturbed to see :-)

Lego city police 6625

A few days ago I saw a review of Hot Toys figures in my friend's blog, as result his blog was succesed make me freakin crazy with Hot Toys's figure! I want Chris Redfield BSAA certainly made the Hot Toys, but that's not what I want to review now, now I want to review Lego ... Lego is a line of contruction toys manufactured by the Lego group, a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark.

I have some vintage Lego who created in 90s. one of them is this Lego city police, this Lego contain 2 Police officer minifigure. Before posting in my blog I do a little Digital Imaging on my Lego's photos and as result you can see my Lego photos look like Lego on Lego's catalog.

I don't take a much picture just 2 picture, but I hope you'll enjoy my collection J .

I make a little short story with Lego's photos, this photo mean 2 policeman who were patrolling to keep the city safe.

And this foto mean 2 policeman give a saluted each other. And this I found this Lego manual in Google, because I was lose my manual.

Treasure vintage toys

Hi, I'm Dr. Salim During the Christmas and new year holiday. I clean up my room and find my treasure... yeah! That my toy box, and i found my vintage toys like a McDonald’s Happy Meal, Star Castle, Polly Pocket, Digimon, Lego, and Power Ranger figure. Even i found my baby toys. The shape and condition still maintained untill now, but unfortunately so many box was damaged and lost.

1. Happy Meals

First I’ll show you my first Happy Meal toy. This toy made in 1991, imagine i’m 19 right now. It means when i get this toy my age was not yet 1 years.

Actually i had a lot of Happy Meals toys, but now i introduce the most vintage :-D

And it my vintage toy too, you know i get it when i was kindergarten. When I get this toy the toy story movie is being premiere in theaters :-)

My favorite is Buzz, he is a space ranger. Buzz Lightyear was first seen on Toy Story as a birthday gift for Andy. At this time, Buzz does not realize that he is a toy, believing himself to be the real Buzz Lightyear.

2. Polly pocket & Star Castle

Actually is it a girl toys, but I love the details and I love the interior. I get it as my circumsision present, tradition in my family when the boy has circumcised his family

should give a many gifts. At that time this is what I want! a Polly Pocket!.

The oplet is my sister Polly Pocket, but my sister grow up adult and give her Polly Pocket for me although many parts have a missing. And here my Polly Pocket, same with my sister Polly Pocket many part has been missing and broken. My Polly Pocket is Veterinary clinic. But the doctor and it pet has been missing when I was kid :-(.

Ok, the Polly Pocket diorama has been introduce, And now I’ll show you some of remaining parts.

That’s the remaining Polly Pocket doll, but the baby sitter left hand has broken L

And when I sit in level 3 Elementary school, I bought a small beauty castle, it is a Star Castle, I still remember I play this toy in Kuta beach with my mother and sister.

And I’ll show you a fairy tale castle, It is Star Castle! I got it from my mom...

It a beautifull tropical castle with a glitter coat and very great details I love it!

3. Pokemon

Pokemon, I still remember this japan TV animation, with the cute main character everybody must know him very well he’s Pikachu! The yellow electric mouse with red blush on his check. I have a pokemon pikachu tamagotchi! It super rare... I got it from my aunt as my birthday present :-).

4. Digimon and Digivice

After Pokemon Indonesia got Digimon attack! Yes, every kid must know what’s Digimon and their favorite Digimon. I love the classic Digimon (Digimon Adventure) and I collect much Digimon figure and Digivice, Digivice is a device from fictional anime and manga Digimon series. The name short for ‘digital device’ = digivice.

That's Digivice I got from online shop in December 2010, blue transparant case with silver screen lining and silver button, it appeared in Digimon 3 (Digimon tamers).

This toys came packaged with trading card, but I was lose it trading card L. These figure were all made from Japanese moulds. The first and only year where the whole line of digivolving figures were Japanese in origin.

And I have Deluxe playset Veemon, the veemon figure can be open to reveal a hidden diorama with miniature figure like Polly Pocket, and comes with armour pieces to digivolve.

I have first Digimon product! The Digimon virtual pet. I have the most vintage virtual pet. And it is very rare and expensive right now.

5. Max Steel

It is my favorite until now, Max Steel is a line action figures produced bo the toy company Mattel. The figures are very similar to original 12-inch G.I.Joe toys. Max Steel was developed into an animated series, which originally aired from February 25, 2000 to January 15, 2002, s well as a number of direct-to-video animated films. I love it perfect graft and my Favorite is the Max Steel Villain, Psycho! It very unique and amazing.

That’s Max Steel Figure, but there was a ink stain in it face L. It can be cleaned with stain remover, because it face made from soft plastic.

And it super unique Figure! That Psycho, Villain from Max Steel TV series. I love it Exploud head.
